Billy George has completed his second degree from Tennessee Technological Universitys satellite campus of the Appalachian Center for Craft. This degrees focus is a Bachelors of Fine Arts concentration on Fibers. Being driven by his community and surroundings, Georges most recent work is comprised by using up-cycled tea bags to create a visual representation of moments of time. Those specific moments being a reflective part of time in his life either because of who he was with, where he was, or what he was doing. He goes throughout life with a give and take concept, so he hopes for you to take a part of his show with you and leave your thoughts.
I would love to hear your thoughts about my work and any ideas you might have to challenge me in my next process.
